Today was the last grueling greek week event, rope pull. SigEp had a solid team with solid leadership. There were many rough pulls against Phi Delt, and Sig Chi. Cutting to the chase, there are more pictures under the gallery for rope pull. SigEp pulled a 4th place on rope pull… And a 3rd place over all for greek week…

SigNu placed 1st overall, and ZBT placed 2nd overall… This was an upset from last year. SigEp’s standing record is now four greek week 1st place overalls in six years.

We’ll have to make sure we bring back SigEp’s first place next year.

Great job to all the SigEp brothers that came out this week for the events… I must admit I was proud of the fraternity — and greek life in general, this week.

Today was chocked full of events. Bright and early, SigEp built its annual can castle. At noon, cut throat competition started with the obstacle course on the Case quad. Right after obstacle course, egg toss and the unity event took place on Freiberger field. The last and final, and maybe most important event to SigEp commenced: Pyramid.

Our boys were tough — we had flawless action until the top person went to mount. Unfortunately, footing was lost, and a second attempt at mounting to the top was necessary. Finally, after a heroic jump, Ronnie chugged his root beer and scored SigEp what we thought was a second place next to Sigma Nu. However, due to intricacies in the rules that: 1) SigNu judged their own event, and 2) SigNu had “questionable” spillage of root beer, a 5 second penalty was applied to their time.

SigEp, as a result, placed first with Pyramid. For the day, we also placed second in the obstacle course. Points are close going into Sunday — as they usually are.

Good to be a SigEp… Keep the momentum going. Rope pull is tomorrow — so look for an update then.

Also I just posted Nadav’s pictures of SigEp’s banner that took 2nd place… We got a 1st place at chug and placed (5th?) at Greek Sing… Haven’t heard results from swim events today, but can castle is on stage with pyramid on deck and rope pull in the hole.

Oh yeah, we got mad faculty luncheon, letter check-in, and Greek III points, too…

Lets hope SigEp brings home our 5th win in 6 years…
